Common terms

  • Due on receipt, for one-off or small jobs.
  • 7 or 14 days, common for trades and services.
  • 30 days or end of the following month, common between businesses.

Choosing

  • Match your own costs: if you pay staff and suppliers weekly, long terms squeeze your cash.
  • Agree the terms in your quote or contract, then show them on every invoice.

In Plain

Set default terms for each customer and Plain works out the due date on every invoice.
