A REAL PRODUCT WORKSPACE
Follow the work, not a slideshow.
This demo opens the same application used by a normal Plain Accounts workspace, with a temporary business and sample records created only for your session. Menus, forms, role permissions, accounting entries and reports are real product behaviour. The boundary is deliberate: actions that could contact a person, move money, connect an institution or lodge with an authority are simulated or locked.
Begin with the Today view to see cash, invoices, bills, approvals and payroll work in context. You can then follow a guided starting area or explore freely. The sample business is intentionally complete enough to show balances and relationships: customers have invoices, suppliers have bills, bank activity has possible matches, employees have time and a pay period, and reports have transactions underneath them. Nothing is presented as your data or retained for later use.
01Invoice to payment
Open an overdue customer invoice, review its income coding and history, then follow the payment and reconciliation result. Delivery and payment actions stay inside the demo—no customer receives an email and no card or bank transaction is created.
02Bill to approval
Review a supplier bill with its source detail, accounts and tax, move it through the approval path and prepare a simulated payment. See how the evidence remains linked instead of disappearing into an approval inbox.
03Bank reconciliation
Work through sample bank activity, inspect a suggested match and see how an accepted decision updates the document balance and ledger. Provider settings stay locked and the sample statement is isolated from every real bank.
04Payroll review
Explore employee and approved-time context, build the sample pay run, inspect the calculation and preview its accounting result. Payslips, payment files and statutory transmissions are not released from the demo.
05Reports to source
Start with profit and loss, open an account, inspect the transaction and return to the original invoice, bill or journal. This is the proof path that turns a headline number into something a business can explain.
06Roles and controls
Switch between the available workspace views to understand how permissions change the work a person can see or complete. Settings, provider connections, destructive administration and regulated submissions remain protected.
Private for two hours, then removed.
Each launch creates a separate temporary workspace and session. It does not share records with another visitor, cannot send external communications, and expires after two hours. Starting a trial is a separate action that creates a clean workspace—none of the demo company, customers, documents, payroll or ledger data carries across.
If you return after expiry, Plain creates another isolated demonstration rather than reopening the previous visitor’s records. Provider settings and destructive administration stay unavailable throughout. This makes the demo useful for testing navigation, data entry, approval logic, posting and reporting while keeping every real external system outside the session.
